Aisha Hinds is an American actress who is best famous for her role in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut she has demonstrated her ability to perform on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. She was first noticed for her performance as Anna in the film Assault on Precinct 13. Her role in the biographical movie All the Way as the feminist campaigner Fannie Lou Hammer was a major draw for the notice of the general public. Her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's historical drama Underground was also highly praised. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television announced that 9-1-1 is scheduled to be renewed for a second season. Hind has completed the production of Godzilla: King of the Monsters, a Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters due to release by mid-2019. The father Krishnaraj is a senior Army scientist and died in March of 2017. The mother Vrinda was a homemaker. There is an older brother Aditya Rai who works as an engineer in the merchant navy. The brother of Bachchan wrote and produced Dil Ka Rishta, along with his mom. Arya Vidya Mandir was the high school where Bachchan attended following her family's move to Mumbai. Jai Hind College in Mumbai is where she completed her intermediate schooling for an entire year. She then was admitted to D.G. Ruparel College Matunga, where she achieved a 90 percentile for her H.S.C. exams. She spent the first five years in adolescence doing classical dance and studying music. Her most loved course was Zoology. Bachchan took a course in Architecture after she became Miss World. The title helped her rise onto the front of modeling. The model was offered lucrative jobs with PepsiCo Inc. and Vogue magazine and also an ambassador contract with L'Oreal Paris in 2003. In 1997, she had two acclaimed role: Iruvar and Aur pyaar hogaia. Bachchan became the front in New Bollywood after both films challenged the conventional structure of Bollywood movies at that time. Bachchan was crowned the Queen of New Bollywood following her performance as the title character in Devdas 2002, which was one of the most well-known Bollywood films. It also was the first Bollywood movie to show at Cannes Film Festival. She received great praise for her role on the screen in Chokher Bali (2003), a dramatic, ad-hoc drama that was based on the Rabindranath Tag book. The actress was the first Indian to join the jury of the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan made an appearance in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice which is a musical and a dance version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan brought both her star-power as well as her beautiful appearance to her most acclaimed English film. In 2006, she returned to Bollywood with the hit film Dhoom: 2 before releasing Provoked: The True Story (2006). She got married Abhishek Bachchan, co-star, who is the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage brought two of India's most prominent individuals together.
